The editorial policy, in one line

Every compound answers the same four questions: what it is, what was studied, what the study actually showed, and where the regulator stands today. How much space it gets varies. Coverage is tiered rather than uniform, so a compound gets its own address where there is enough sourced material to make that page worth landing on, and a substantial entry inside its category page where there is not. A letter grade appears only where this site has run its own source review, which is 2 compounds of 51 so far. These four groups are where the reading concentrates; the other 16 compounds are on the compound index. Nothing here tells anyone to take anything. Where a page reports the amounts used in a study, it reports them as what a study did, and no page on this site publishes an amount for a person.

One registered trial names TB-500 itself, and it has not reported. The eighteen usually counted for it tested thymosin beta-4, the full protein this peptide is a fragment of, in dry eye and corneal wound healing. A fragment does not inherit the parent protein's grade.

GLP-1 receptor agonist, 31 amino acids
The best-evidenced compound on this list, and the only one that reached approval. Both facts belong on the same page. This site publishes no grade for it yet, because the source review behind a grade has not been run.

Copper tripeptide-1, 3 amino acids
The letter records how much research exists, and here it points the other way from what a reader expects: both randomized trials came back with no difference from their control on every measure an assessor made. That direction cannot fit in a letter, so it is written out here and again beside the badge on the page.

An index points at a claim, it does not make one. Where a card shows a grade its page has published, and every figure on that card is restated there with its source, and with an evidence tier wherever the figure is a claim about what the compound does rather than a regulatory or operational fact. The remaining cards carry no grade and no trial count, and the regulatory word on each is restated with its document on the entry the card links to.

GRADE A
large, published, replicated
Multiple completed trials in people, published, with results that hold up across more than one program. Very few compounds in this category reach it.
GRADE B
tested in people, not settled
A completed human study tested the use it is actually sold for and read out, and it did not settle the question. An unfinished program, trials that disagree, and trials too small to conclude from all land here. The letter says the evidence exists and stops short; it does not say why it stops short.
GRADE C
studied, but not for this
This compound has been studied in people, but none of that work tested the use it is sold for. A different condition, a different route, or a different formulation. The easiest grade to misread.
GRADE D
no completed human trial
Rodent studies, case reports, forum accounts. Sometimes a lot of rodent studies. It is still not evidence that something works in a person.

Zero, and that number is the most useful thing a reader can know about the best-selling compound in this category. Two trials are registered: a phase 1 from 2015 whose status is unknown, and a phase 2 now recruiting. Small human studies do exist outside those registrations, in groups of a few dozen people and by routes almost nobody uses, and in July 2026 FDA told its own advisory committee they were not enough to reach a conclusion on effectiveness. Past that, the record is animal studies and community reports, and that is the weight the claims made for this compound are resting on.

An index points at a claim, it does not make one.
